You should see those Marigolds and the Apple blossoms! It's 70F here and beautiful outside! I've been walking alot. I heard some well placed scoobie-doo that questions were sent from the FDA to Agouron regarding their data. The questions were thought to be answered by the company and we're all awaiting approval "Any day". The $1 billion question: WHEN?? Hard to say how low we can go until some good news makes the scene. We're sort of adrift here, I think. The news from the AIDS network is that Viracept is well tolerated and recommended especially for first time patients. There is still a cross resistance debate, but it's too early to tell. The drug is well tolerated. Nothing new on the clinical front and that's good! Merck is negative about the Viracept results, but they got a lot to loose. Could it be that Merck is pulling ropes to keep the FDA moving at a snail's pace? Just paranoid speculation.
