Thanks Joe. I guess it does answer my question...tho I still can't understand why MFS (now MFSWCOM) would have wanted to purchase UUNET, worlds largest network co, but would have no need for NOVL. Also, why is it that AT&T would want to buy NOVL and also may want (read may HAVE TO)buy MFSWCOM & YET NOVL is not a "fit" for MFSWCOM. Ah well....I'm still learning about all this. Thanks again for your imput. fb
