Scumbria, The AMD brand name has gained full respectability in the computer marketplace. Make that in retail only. The computer marketplace is a big, wide market. AMD is not recognized whatsoever in the workstation or server markets. Corporate PCs? I strongly doubt it there too. What are AMD's 64 bit plans? Any? It sounds like they won't be a threat to Intel in the SMP server market, with the K7, that is, IF it flies better than any AMD CPU to date, 'til next year. Then you get Merced in your lap. Oof. Tony
