It was an example. "Therefore, as an example, any record holder of TNRG as at May 20, 1999... The idea that I get from it is that you have to buy it before the Ex-Dividend Date and hold it through the Ex-Dividend Date. Dividends are a very confusing topic. They are not for the faint of heart. Hope this works out for everybody. For me, if it doesn't, then I get the dividend of telling my wife "I told you so!" Mike
