AT&T, Novell, Others Liked by Warwick's Lawrence, Barron's Says
New York, May 22 (Bloomberg) -- AT&T Corp., Scientific- Atlanta Inc., Novell Inc., Tommy Hilfiger Corp., and Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. are among the top stocks favored by Carl Lawrence, who heads Warwick Capital Management, Barron's reported. Lawrence likes AT&T, the largest U.S. phone company, because its stock sells at a reasonable valuation and the company is pushing into the Internet-services market; he likes Scientific-Atlanta because it's taking advantage of the increasing market for cable- television set-top boxes. The New York-based money manager also likes Boeing Co. because he believes the aircraft-maker may benefit from U.S. Defense Department orders next year, and Eastman Kodak Co. because it has restructured its operations and introduced a new digital camera, Barron's reported.
