But maybe you should give yourself more credit. I liked the comments you wrote in the body of your post. You're dead on from my perspective.

But you are incorrect about the Indians. Many tribes were constantly at war with each other. One has only to look at the French and Indian wars where various Indian tribes fought on either side of the warring parties as a means to carry out their age-old conflicts.
