Doesn't it drive you nuts that you can't see it? If it was on your leg you could monitor it. If they said tube you need to see a doc soon so the tube doesn't plug and cause you more pain. Or find a sadistic neighbor and have them squeeze the infection out like a zit. Just kidding, that would make it worse. See a doc.

Tubes. Western Horseman says you should have tubes on hand in case your horse gets bitten by a rattler on the face. Ram them up the horses nose so it doesn't swell shut. A horse can't breathe through it's mouth. FWIW.
