yesterday may 21, 1999, john hopkins medical center anounced a drug in late stage of clinacal testing, a drug that can bind iga (immuno-golbulins)which is
responsible for allergies, also they found to their suprise as you diminish iga levels the number of receptors also decreases, this is an important find for allergy-immunology ! this new drug is it given by mouth or injection ? does anyone have more information on this topic ?
sepracor is very heavy invested into allergy drugs; if this new drug is by mouth it could affect future investments ICE drugs !
