Hutch Realistic that you can have enough gold to cover currency base. Realistic to many dollars in circulation. Define strength of currency it is economic conditions within any given nation at any given time. You have three quarters of the world undergoing changes and Saudies oil trying to move up when economies are still depressed. Give me an alternative to the risk now aside from the DOW
