Good point!!!

No SI should not be "expected" to retroactively adjust time-stamps for splits.

Instead, SI could:
1.) Have a well placed disclaimer regarding splits and
2.) A split history within the profile of each company (this is probably asking for a lot, but perhaps there is some sort of on-line service that SI can link to that maintains this info).
