Spoke with GIFT's CEO and here is what I got. I have to be brief. Not much time now, but: Mr. Freilich is one of the shrewdest and most visionary people I have ever had the pleasure of talking to. He is setting GIFT up to be "The Source of the Internet". As part of the Amnesty Plan, a 1/2 page ad is going into (I may have the title wrong of the most widely read periodical of Info Mgr's) Information Week, next week.
A major source of revenue, in a year or so, after fast cable modems become common place will be from the publication industry. From you favorite "Cyber Newspaper Stand" you can "order up" you favorite newspaper, perioddical, newletter, music CD, etc. etc. 28.8 is too slow.
There is a good possibility that Mr F will come on to Prodigy soon and directly answer questions on what he sees happening near term and longer term. If you are not on Prodigy, you may want to call to take advantage of the 10 free hours. Hey, if you sign up and put me down as a referral, I get 10 free hours also <gg>. My Prodigy ID is LVQV78A -Mel Spivak . There we follow gift on the Money Talk BB\MICROCAPITALISTS\MC-GIFT. Get ready.
The media will soon "recognize" E-Data. Anyone from the Bergen County NJ area - a reporter from the Bergen Record was going to do an interview. That is a suburb of NYC in Northern NJ.
Someone asked about the PRIVATE PLACEMENT. There were private placementS for a total of about $900K for about 1M shares. This gave GIFT the "war chest" needed then. Mel
