Why I am LONG on STRU...
For those that are wondering, I suggest that you follow these steps for some serious DD and food-for-thought. If you agree with me, get in NOW! If you don't agree, I wish you luck. I've tried to make this simple...
NUMBER ONE
I read the entire www.struthers.org web site. This tells most of the story regarding their capabilities, the need/market that exists, where they are headed, the change in management & ownership, etc.
NUMBER TWO
I spoke at length on several occasions with someone known on this board as PizzaKing on the RagingBull board. He has been a STRU shareholder for 3 years, and was able to connect some dots for me. In addition to everything else going for this company, they had something else very important and rare. It is called INTEGRITY. I don't want to make this post any longer than it will be already, but suffice to say, INTEGRITY and STRU go hand-in-hand.
NUMBER THREE
I had a couple questions left, and spoke with Investor Relations at STRU. I was impressed with their candor and honesty about the past, the present and - as much as they could say at the moment - the future of this company.
NUMBER FOUR
As many of you have discovered for yourself, Investor Relations at STRU has confirmed that there will be NEWS in early June that is characterized as very significant and very positive. News that will make STRU shareholders very happy. (IR's words, not mine.) And, I "suspect" we'll continue to see good news from them throughout the year.
NUMBER FIVE
With STRU, Hog Farmers realize much better, bigger hogs. STRU has acquired the finest hog herd in existance for breeding purposes. (9 inch loin as compared to 4 1/2) This means an equal or higher yield of meat from fewer hogs. (SAVINGS to the Hog farmer)
NUMBER SIX
With STRU, Hog Farmers eliminate the diseases that can commonly plague these animals. Again, SAVINGS to the Hog farmer. And, oh yeah, the general public AROUND THE WORLD would kinda embrace this disease free thing too. :) As my 7 year old would say... "DUH!"
NUMBER SEVEN
Huge worldwide market!! Pork is the most consumed meat worldwide. Depending what you are calling the total market (ie Total estimated farm receipts, or something less) this is a multiple Billion dollar market, and I've seen a number approaching 200 BILLION in the STRU newsletter. So, yes, this is a "niche" of sorts, but it is one hell of a niche!
NUMBER EIGHT
All of the above notwithstanding...
There has been alot of research and speculation as to the potential of growing organs in HOGS to use for transplant into humans. Yep, sounds weird if you haven't heard of this before. But, it is out there. Seems one of the major challenges they faces was with regard to "disease."
Hmmm - Do you know any company that may be able to assist with disease free and genetically superior Hogs???
NUMBER NINE
Without writing a book here, I have played with some potential numbers on STRU. (Digging through what we've heard from IR, what we know about the market, calculating into the total O/S shares, etc.) Everything I come up with points to STRU being a $5 to $6 stock in the relatively near future. Whether that is 1 month or 18 months, I don't much care. I am here for the LONG haul.
NUMBER 10
To emphasize - PORK is the most consumed meat worldwide. People will always EAT. They may not always buy new music, use the Internet, etc. etc. BUT WE ALL GOTTA EAT! In good times and bad. And, we like to eat meat that hasn't come from diseased animals... And, Hog Farmers will continue to look to make more money by eliminating disease, getting higher yields, etc.
IN CLOSING
I may have missed something here. If so, I may re-post a revised version of this. There are some truly great DD type posts throughout our message board. Some are more DD on stocks in general, some are specific to STRU. I'll not mention names because of the risk of leaving out someone.

And, PLEASE, if you are serious about this stock as an INVESTMENT, start by reading through the entire www.struthers.org web site. Then, scroll through this board and learn who the key posters are. You might also visit the www.ragingbull.com board and do the same on the STRU board. If you need more questions answered, call Investor Relations at STRU! Be an INFORMED investor and do some research on your own.
No HYPE here! The facts will do quite nicely, thank-you!
