Thanks for the article. I think the above statement is a little misleading, however. US West has been in the data systems integration business for about 6 years now through their Interprise Networking division. Hardly a trial market situation. This has been a major growth business for them.

I'm sure they expect to leverage their data business with Frontier's, utilizing the GBLX network as transport. Over the long term, it could be a very exciting business.

Over the short term, I'm not sure.
