I wouldn't jump to that conclusion too fast. The amount of shares ole Lou sold was a pinch in the bucket compared to the amount he still has, over 4 million. If you're shorting because you think ole Lou knows that the stock has topped off take a look at his track record. He also sold back on Oct 22, 1998 a total of 142,000 shares at a price of $140.92 and back on May 15, 1998 a total of 138,000 shares at $125.12. Look what the stock has done since then. If anything he is the worst example of when to sell! Good luck on your short but my bet is on the upside before the split, a short dip after the split and back to the races thereafter.
