I also think CDN is positioned very well for growth over the next year or two as well as for the longer term. Over the next few years, nearly all of the major semiconductor producers will be going to deep submicron design geometries. As I understand it, this transition requires a new EDA approach that takes into account device layout considerations at the very early stages of high level design and also takes into account parasitic effects of interconnects between transistors that will become the dominant cause of delay at smaller design geometries. CDN is developing both the software tools for this new, more integrated design approach and, unlike the other EDA vendors, is providing consulting services at the customer's site to help them maximize the use of CDNs software. Two articles in the PR Newswires were published today regarding these trends. Both were very upbeat on CDN's potential.

Trying to time exactly when the growth will really take off is difficult, so I got in early. Hope this info is useful.
