Steph: A 64MB chip is in bits not bytes. That is, it takes eight 16MB(it) chips to make that 16MB(yte) SIMM you put in your computer for 16 megabytes of RAM (or nine if parity is used). Thus, a 64MB chip is only 8MB of RAM and you would need eight to get 64MB.
