Seth, I agree with you 1000%. Someone once said that stocks are the only thing that most people want to buy when the prices are high and going higher. Yet, they will avoid them when the prices are on the bargain table. People will put an enormous amount of effort in getting the lowest possible price on a car, etc. But when that same discounted price appears in great companies, they avoid them. In ten to twenty years I know that big T will still be here. I wouldn't bet on any other company including Intel, Microsoft etc. Technology is rapidly changing and some bright mind somewhere in the world will change things again. The worst is behind for T. The best is coming. At these prices, $36, T is the closest thing to a sure bet.
