I talked with the Investor Relation's Person (I think her name was Karen ?). I found her to be pleasant and answered most of my questions. I had asked why Procyte had not been at the Hambrecht & Quist Biotechnology Conference earlier in the year. She said that Procyte was not invited. She stated that Procyte no longer classified itself as a biotechnology company, but rather as a Medical Products Company. Procyte is planning to attend a Medical Products conference in the middle of this month. I made note that a positive was Brinson Partners had increased their percentage invested in Procyte from 4% to 9% earlier in February. She said that Procyte has had a long relationship with Brinson Partners. Everyone can read this at www.sec.gov under a 13G filing. She went on to say that there were few analysts that covered Procyte. I think this is an understatement. She did say that it will take a while to make inroads with their product due to competition from the large medical products companies. She also said that Procyte was working on testing and manufacturing products for several companies but that this was a long process to gain these companies trust to produce their products in volume. Based on the current stock price it appears the market is discounting that Procyte will use up it's cash in production costs for the launch of their new products and perhaps have to issue more shares of stock. At the Yahoo Stock Quotes website under the Research Section Procyte is rated a 4. A 1 is the highest and 5 is the lowest rating. We need some luck from the outcome at this conference this month.
