The quality of spelling and grammar has nothing to do with the information which is shared for the benefit of all, on investors forums.

I respectfully beg to differ.

While I agree with the overall tone of your note; it is often rude to ridicule someone in public for a spelling or grammar error and it may be better handled by a private message, it is incorrect to conclude that an inability to spell correctly has "nothing to do" with someone's understanding of a subject germane to investors.

We are, after all, writing. Writing has rules. If you put the wrong letter in an HTML code, it does not work. HTML has to be perfect.

If you, or anyone, misspells a word, then I have no choice but to stop and try and understand what I think you may have meant. This not only slows me down, it slows you down. It slows everyone down, and that's not the point of writing something, at least for me. (When cOUSIN SHORTY purposefully butchers English, it's to make that point!)

I am convinced that if someone does not understand the word they are using, they cannot possibly fully understand the concept they are trying to convey with the word. If one argues that he can understand the word without being able to spell it correctly, I doubt very seriously if he has taken the time to look in a dictionary, and I question his assertion that he understands the wird. In my mind, this makes everything else that person writes suspect.

Not that I will ridicule them in public, because that could be a mean thing to do, but it is relevant.
