Concerning Meridia, etc ... I know a Knoll employee who told me that they have surpassed 1 million patients on this drug so far. Not bad for a problematic obesity treatment. Tells you a bit about the desire to have such a drug. I really wish I could look at the raw data concerning the lack of cardiovascular side effects of the active enantiomer. I just find the statement about the side effects of the racemate are mediated by the "off" enantiomer to be difficult to believe. I guess that's the scientist in me.
