Cornell, Far above Cayuga's Waters, right? Maybe you could have had a tug of war across it to see who'd get dumped, the Mac or the Wintel bigots. What's Merced supposed to dissipate on 0.18 micron, anyway? You know that all of IBM's newest S390s are liquid cooled, right? Big Iron, or Big Silicon (TM Paul E.) tolerates exotic cooling methods to get the utmost performance. Of course, you'd rather not if you don't have to, i.e., go liquid. The server end of Intel's business is getting more and more up my alley. Getting stoked here. Tony
