The laws are full of injustices. A woman was allowed to have herself taken off life support because she didn't want to spend the rest of her life like that. As a result, her mother is now being charged with murder because she is the one who shot the woman (her daughter) and paralyzed her.. Apparently it is OK to decide to end your life under certain conditions. Yet we are not allowed to try to save ourselves because the process we may decide to use has no FDA approval. Reminds me of another case dealing with amounts paid to welfare recipients new to the state. A law was passed stating that new arrivals into CA couldn't collect more welfare then they were receiving in the state they came from. The court decided this was illegal because it infringed upon their right of freedom of movement and the right to live where they wished. It seems to me that the taxes I pay for these people infringes upon my right to vacation where I might wish. I'm not against welfare when the system is not abused. I just find it funny that they have the right to move where they wish and use my money and I have to limit my movements because of taxes I pay so they may have this right. Whoa, how did I get off on this tangent?
