>>By the way, post 412 contains the projection of the ERP market being $66 Billion by 2003.<<

I speak from experience when I say that once a customer is comfortable that a software vendor is stable, has a list of satisfied customers, and they have proven that they can deliver on their promises - they will almost always choose the product that best meets the specific needs of their business. In the end, it matters little whether the product is made by the biggest company in the field or by the new up and coming challenger- as long as they get what they need. For example, here are two telling customer quotes . . .

>>"Camco selected ASI as its partner of choice because of the data gathering versatility of their time and attendance solution ATServer(r). Furthermore, the application meets our diverse functional needs, is clearly in line with our strategic information technology direction, and provides a fully bilingual product to meet our Montreal plant needs, all within a tight implementation time frame." <<

>>According to Pierre Paquete, Imperial's Project Manager for Automated Data Collection, "ASI was chosen because of the experienced level of staff and the advanced modularity of ATLink(tm) open systems technology that will reduce costs associated with both the implementation and maintenance of the application. ATLink(tm) is flexible in meeting our current specific needs and can easily be adapted to future technical advancements. Finally, ASI has demonstrated a willingness to establish a strong partnership. We feel that is essential to a successful interactive working relationship in this innovative environment."<<

I am confident that when someone also looks at similar comparisons between Middleware companies and ASI, they will once again see how (in terms of upside potential) ASI is well ahead. Even though I do not have the numbers to back up this opinion, I believe that ASI's Middleware product will soon become the largest contributor to ASI's revenue stream. Despite the fact that this Middleware software is a new product line for ASI, INMO, I believe that the product's upside potential is huge.

I also want to stress that this new product does not take anything away from their ability to focus on two products at the same time. I see them as complementary in nature. They are just two options they can offer to their customers. It is really a "Good News - Better News" story. Both of these products are successes in their own right. Combined, they provide ASI with a solid base upon which they can continue to build their business.

I also believe that ASI is now just finding its rhythm. I trust that these next few quarters will be very impressive indeed.

P.S. I just noticed that ASI's URL in this thread's lead off post does not work. Here is the correct URL to get to ASI's website www.advsysintl.com
