JB2- Here is a description of the box AOL will be using from YAHOO chat

----------------- snip -------------------------

I own a box, and here is how it works:

1.Connections in the back VGA S-Video Video and Audio Outs Mouse and Keyboard Printer Tel Line Power cord

2.It comes with a remote control and a wireless keyboard

3.It has a smart card that plugs into the front of the device

4.The setup is so simple, you plug the power supply, the video/audio out, and the telephone line into the appropriate place. There is no software configuration. It is ready to go right out of the box.

5.The software on the system is all upgradable via their server not each individual box. This is the coolest thing. For those techies out there you will understand this. The Network Computer part of the box uses a thin-client server approach. They use Citrix Winframe to deliver programs to the end user on their tv set. What this means is that an end user can be running a windows based program on the e.tv server only they are viewing it on their TV. I use the word processor, which is part of the Lotus Smartsuite, all the time.
