Funny thing is that they picked StaggerLee. I really don't see why, beyond his somewhat incautious use of the word 'scam', which as a slang term carries a wide range of connotation .... you know, Volume 2 of the Dictionary of American Slang is out now, but it only goes up to 'O' ... Volume 3 will presumably cover 'S', but there is no date listed for its ETA, and Vol 2 took years after Vol 1 - so what will Medinah's lawyers use for a definition, some inferior work?
If you look back through the old posts, you find that S never was all that involved in this thread - he even held the stock for a while on last year's run, took a hit on it, and vented .... hardly a hanging offense. And imho it is counterproductive for mdin to make a big deal of some comment like that even if a lawyer does advise them that it is actionable - I don't think anybody really takes to heart what is posted here without documentation, we are (or should be) all pretty immune after a while to the incessant hype on these threads.
Anyway, if what they were after was credibility, why wouldn't they just file some comprehensive up-to-date audited financials on edgar? |
