apropos of nothing at all, I spend real dollars and am taxed on real dollar gains, not percentages. Percentages are nice in evaluating how I've done or for bragging purposes but for knowing what is at risk and what my gains are for reinvesting elsewhere (after taxes of course) I deal in real dollars. Thus both measures are of substantial importance. I'm not sure if this contributes any light to the discussion - it's just a thought. Dee Jay
