First of all, when a company guides the street to lower estimates they always give them targets they are going to beat. Getting analysts to lower estimates can be very useful if you can get them to move targets below actual results. That way even a bad quarter can "beat estimates". It's the way the game is played, so don't expect them to come out "much lower than the street".

Secondly, can a rise in the stock ever be expected? Answer, of course. Stocks like MU move one way for awhile, then the other. It's not time yet, but the time will come.
