news from Taiwan and the Yahoo RMBS thread:

and Rambus was the topic on every engineers mind! I was there for the semi-anual conference of HKEA. There were six presentations and the most followed was that of Semiconductors "Beyond 2000". Rambus, Rambus, Rambus was the topic on everybodys mind. I met with Paul Talbot, an analyst with CSFB stationed in Hong Kong. Paul mentioned some new developments on RDRAM. One of which is Rambus working on a deal with the next generation set-top boxes. Actually, it doesn't surprise me any, and The company Rambus is working with is LSI. There is a lot more to Rambus than any of us had ever expected. In General, there were some concerns about PC133 and the Taiwanese alliance, but there was far greater positives with the endorsements of Rambus from Toshiba, and others that IMHO, Everything other than Rambus at this point is not looking good. I feel a great sense of joy knowing that my investment decision to go Very Long on Rambus will begin to pay-off. BTW, Institutional owenership in Rambus has tripled in the past 3 months. Motorola remains key to the endorsement of Rambus as the last piece to fit the puzzle as another poster suggested.
