David:
"My interest has been purely one who believes that such advancement in the world of communication will provide a better World for everyone. Its potential to bring education and information to anyone with a phone, TV, P/C or N/C, and radio, will bring a world together. I also believe it will bring a world which will provide peace, prosperity, and provide better health care."
I believe as you do, David. The question, though, is whether this will be accomplished.
I could use DWM myself; in fact, my original investigation of DWM was to determine if we could use it in our products. I am sure it works, in some form, in the lab, but also convinced that IAS ran into problems getting it to work in the real world, and that is why there have been no material announcements about DWM being used in real world applications for years. IAS was more aggressive in denouncing anyone who didn't "believe in" DWM than it's critics were in pointing out the problems with DWM; that was why the criticism became so sharp. For every barb shot into IAS, there were two coming back out.
I don't have anything against the company or their desire to make the world a better place. Who would condemn such a motive? I have the same motive in MY work.
