Smith Barney decreased estimates for fiscal year ending
12/97 from 1.70 to 1.63 but reitarated estimates for
long term EPS growth of 20% per year on 2-25-97 even
though this is old news some investors get this
information a couple of weeks later, and that is why I
think the stock went down, this information was released
to some investors yeasterday. The only clear option that
I see here is to buy more. At these levels this is one
of the most undervalued semiconducter companies with a
great product and management. If the worse scenario
happens and the earnings for 97 will be 1.63 that means
that the stock is trading at 35% discount based on 1997
earnings. A great buying opportunity.
