Thanks for the invitation, melinda, although I am an east coaster.
May I recommend that you make the smoothies with plain no-fat yogurt & REAL blueberries? You can buy them frozen, if they are out of season, and that is less expensive. I make my smoothies with 1 cup blueberries, 1 banana, 1/2 cup orange juice, one cup plain yogurt. Yum! And no sugar needed. Did you know that there are EIGHT teasponfuls of sugar in that commercially prepared fruit yogurt? And that the "blueberries" are really just jam?
