Can you imagine the embarassment of having to go back to high school after that? Actually, a month after that. It took that long to get my day in court. All that time I was cooped up with bank robbers, rapists, and other sundry riff raff. For a kid who had never been suspended from school or gotten a traffic ticket before, it was really quite an experience. Eventually some really good things happened in my life as a direct result of it, though. But that is another tale.
