T2k,

Forget about the trial, the news. When the stock starts to run , good news will be released to justify the run up.

Small investors invest on news, big investors make up the run up and control the market..

Every year this time after the split , and April earning release, MSFT headed toward the dead water for one month. I do not think that is a coinsistence, but a set up. My bet is Microsoft started the stock buy back program every year this time, and employee stock option program , and the big investors wrote lots of calls duriing this period of time , so those who controled the market wrote these calls, will they let their stocks called away ? NO !!!, so the stock got still between $76 to $82 for one month till the option expired , and the big players get your call premiums.

Do you think Microsoft will continue trading in this range for long ? I do not think so.
Looking at Microsoft , the new products, the new strategy in e-commerce, ....etc,
the trial is no event now, and we may heading toard a settlement in the summer, I do not think Microsoft will go down any further. The going down from $95 to $76 is
set artifically by those big players, and nothing to do with Microsoft as a stock. So, the only direction it will go is up, especially right after this option expiration. My bet , the next max pain point will be between $100 to $110. After the earning report of
July, Microsoft may shoot up to $130 to $140 and settle down at $125 to $130.

The 2002 Leap will be available in June.
