i'm sick that i had the vcr set to the wrong time and missed it. would you hit the high spots for me, Bill. thank you. was Drudge report doing an alarmist thing or did it actually hit the mark? maybe there will be a re-run soon. got the solar panel charge controller cables and all plus inverter all connected this weekend. wow. couldn't believe the quiet cheap power.

oh, and i learned about j-boxes, buss bars, tubular lugs, heat shrink tubing, and wire gauges this weekend. wallet is thinner.

also learned how many unsold homes are in my neighborhood when i tried to get the house listed with an agent that works and not one that just wants someone else to do the work and therefore they are just a listing agent. sure are a lot of those listing agents only kinds out there.

planning on saving up more shekels and buying more 160 gels/batteries for the battery bank. might as well store up more juice. have 4 days power with no sunlight currently, might as well make it a month, right?

still very concerned about how much post y2k service i'm going to get from this integrated circuit charge controller gizmo that is all connected up. at least the leds that blink quietly won't likely burn out. some of those things i understand last for years and years and years since there is no filament involved.

our redundancy plan also calls for having a college electrical engineering student build me an old timey transistor-ized one like they used to have in the 50s. that is unless the dallas semiconductor people are making the chips in this charge controller.

anybody know of certified y2k compliant charge controllers out there?
shouldn't be too late to get a hold of one.
