Ok, Emerson never took a course in the strength of materials if he wants to make his strings from iron, but hey, what can you expect from an essayist? Emerson and Thoreau were anti-technology anyhow, which only makes them silly, not necessarily stupid ... (2) It's incremental. The more you know, the more is possible. Does this sound like an old man talking? Well, there you are. It's the only thing we do well (except the limbo, natch <ggg>).
