It is important to note that it takes a while to get an optical networking idea/prototype/beta product accepted by the major carriers. I am concerned that bright guys like Huber are no longer with Ciena and are in fact implementing their vision in another company. But the CIEN management is really very good and the last few months have shown me that they are showing good results working the market and getting the orders. Also, they have just picked up some very good talent with working products. Finally, the question remains, does the market require more bandwidth than DWDM can already provide with working qualified gear?
