pomp, i have read that amd had design flaws with k7. they may have been resolved. i have read k7 now due in june - dec. originally we heard k7 was using rambus. i have never seen a change on that. at 800m or so it would not make sense for amd to use any other memory. i asked the amd yahoo thread yesterday for a shipping date...no response...i take that as an i don't know. on the si thread, someone posted they expect a k7 announcement june 10. if that happens, it would be awesome for rmbs. unclewest
