It's a question of desktop standards for digital TV, DaYooper. The digital broadcast TV "file" format is not the same as that for streaming media, but a digital TV signal can be processed on a PC. So the issue is one of de facto standards and control of the digital TV "desktop." HAUP's alliance really has to be with MSFT or RNWK if it wants to go anywhere. I'd bet on RNWK which, interestingly, comes with "moral support" from AOL/NSCP. Still, MSFT has a lot to lose and brings deep pockets to this sort of initiative... Could be interesting but digital PC cards need to come down to $199-$299 in order to jump-start the era of digital TV. At $500, it's too small a market. BAM P.S. Long MSFT, RNWK. No position in HAUP.
