So you have been to Daghistan. Then you you should admit that those mountain passes are fit for mountain goats and the Avars. When they
decide to fight the Russians, nobody can pull them out.I have visited
many Aols in Dagistan. There is snow, cold, wind and absolute desoaltion. I have seen valleys so deep and dark where the bats
fly them at days.I have seen great discontent with Russians. The Avars
practice a mystical brand of Islam, very close to Sufism. The Avars are very stoic, very tough, and vengeful people. Their creed is the
"Kanly" or revenge! United States will ensure that the Russians don't
ever find peace in there!!
What happened in Chechnia! Russian army got whipped by a force of 15,000 Chechens. Over 500,000 Russians troos couldn't impose their will on these brave people. Russins captured Grozney after months of heavey bombardment, only to be entrapped in it themselves! So, at the end, they had to save face, make peace, and pull out ot Chechnia completely! Mashkadov, the Chechnian leader, has not accepted the Russian terms for autonomy and asks for independence. Sooner or later the second round will start, and this time Avars will join in
with them. This is a threat held over the Russians head by the US.
