Because the market has either forgotten or given up for lost KM due to no more licensees immediately after the Maxtor deal, and so any good progress report on KM negotiations and MR progress in the lab should spike the price up, even if only temporarily. We know about it here, but most big money mildly acquainted with AXC will be more interested with a friendly 10K size kicking reminder that KM is a currently negotiated reality, just no final agreements yet. No news, in part, has sunk this stock, and they've only been willing to give KM news in the 10K/Q except for the Maxtor and Chairman's letter deal 12/23. Market needs a wakeup reminder and this is only one of a few ways AXC lets it get delivered.
