David I have had a chance to review the company profile and I think
you should have a look.....................,

Company Summary

CRI Liquidating is a finite-life, self-liquidating real estate investment trust. Its portfolio consists of 23 government insured
multifamily mortgages worth approximately $112 million. The trust is governed by a board of directors that manage the
liquidation company's assets with the goal of maximizing the returns to shareholders and also conduct the day-to-day
operations of the company. The company plans to dispose of its entire portfolio by the end of 1997 through an orderly
liquidation. The safekeeping and servicing of the mortgage investments is performed by various trustees and servicers under the
company's service agreements.

Even though the value of the company will be reduced to just "2 limited partnerships, cash and other miscellaneous assets" I agree with Pdolphin that I you buy in at 1 7/8 your down side is strictly commissions. Plus there is still some value left in the stock. (i.e. the above mentioned)
