dumbmoney, It is pointless to speculate on any unofficial benchmarking that has been done on the K7. Were all three FPU units functional and turned on? Was FPU pipelining turned on? Was the code optimized for K7? These are the kinds of questions which no one, including the benchmarkers have the answer to. They also can make an order of magnitude difference in performance. We are used to instant gratification on the Internet, but were not going to get it today. Scumbria
