Offshore accounts - I wont address that. Please speak to your attorney. I never want to be involved in anything that even smells of impropriety.

If the stock canbe borrowed, it can be shorted. The $5 or under refers to marginability of the issue. Yet, we also ensure that such activity is suitable, so ther eis no exact answer on cheap stocks that I can give. Its a case by case basis.

IPOS can typically be shorted on settlement day when the clearing firm first gets wholly owned inventory as a result of trades from days' previous.
