Heads up all Series A holders. I've been doing some research and what I suspected should prove to be true. The 8% PIK gravy train won't be running that much longer. Very shortly we should expect Mesa (ie. Rainwater) to offer us a premium for our preferred shares. The premium paid would be a small price to pay, given the great long term prospects for this company. To effect this Mesa needs a 2/3rds vote in favor of conversion to common stock. With Rainwater holding 50+% of the cards, getting the addional 16-17% is a slam dunk at this point. I expect this to be announced very shortly. Before you know what's happening you'll get called out of your position - happy for the return, short or intermediate term - but sorry to be out if you were to take yourself out another year or more as this thing begins to gather some real steam.

I would be a buyer of both the common and preferred in this range to take advantage of this deal and also ensure you won't be bought out prematurely. The time is right for Rainwater to strike.

Good luck to all!
