Consolidated Medical Management, Inc. Announces the Appointment of the Honorable Jan Laverty-Jones to Its Board of Directors

LAS VEGAS, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- CMMI (OTC Bulletin Board: CMMI) is pleased to announce the appointment of the Honorable Mayor of Las Vegas Jan Laverty-Jones to its Board of Directors effective immediately.

Jan Laverty-Jones, first elected as Mayor of Las Vegas in May, 1991, and reelected in 1995, has been privileged to govern one of the fastest growing cities in the country for almost a decade. Unparalleled growth has occurred in Las Vegas in this period of time. All growth estimates have fallen short of the mark. Planners predicted the Las Vegas Valley would be home to one million people by the year 2000. That milestone was reached in 1994. The latest prediction: Two million by 2005!

The recipient of many awards, the Mayor serves on numerous State and local boards and commissions, as well as on the Executive Committee of the national Conference of Mayors. Mayor Jan Laverty-Jones is a graduate of Stanford University.

Practice Management Group of Nevada is coming on board as a division of CMMI. CMMI is currently answering a Request for Proposal from the City of Mesquite, Nevada to manage a 19,000 square foot state-of-the-art medical facility in that city. If awarded, the contract with the city would provide 24 hour urgent care to a medically under-served area. Medical Services would be provided by Mesquite Medical Associates headed by Phillip Hartwell, M.D. (Board Certified Family Practice), and Lonnie R. Empey, D.O. (Military-trained Internal Medicine). Mesquite is located 85 miles northeast of Las Vegas with a population of approximately 25,000 people in the service area. In addition, Practice Management Group is currently in negotiation with other physician groups in Las Vegas to provide management and marketing services.

CMMI is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Nevada Resort Medical Services, a tourist-oriented extended hours urgent care medical facility, located in the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. Nevada Resort Medical Services will add approximately $1.5 million per year to CMMI's current revenues. With this acquisition, and the previously announced Practice Management Group of Nevada acquisitions, CMMI will add a total of $2 million dollars in gross revenues.
