Loanshark99, Wishful thinking on GDM and the SFD because you have it backwards. GDM never owned the SFD nor had any rights to it. It was never GDM's. It was always George L.'s. GDM just had a joint venture license with George similar to the way Encal, Renaissance, and CamWest have joint venture agreements today with George's new company, Pinnacle. You would not say that Encal or Renaissance or CamWest own the SFD, would you? Similarly, GDM never owned the SFD.

As to why George did not take the SFD and put it into GDM once GDM went under as opposed to starting fresh with Pinnacle. Well, GDM was a mess with lawsuits, etc. Tainted goods. I would never have done it either. When it came time to go the wrong way or the right way, George chose the correct path and stayed clear of GDM.

Like I said before, GDM never owned the SFD nor had any exclusive rights to it. If GDM can ever rise from the dead, they can beg George to let them sign another joint venture with Pinnacle. But I rather think that Pinnacle is travelling in a totally different circle of friends now. Can you see GDM or New GDM ever being added to the list of partners with Renaissance, Encal, and CamWest? I don't.
