Ken, that is an interesting insight into HP's culture. AR has been largely correct in the past, and the sober tone of the post, in comparison to the bravado of the past, suggests credibility this time around as well, given the content of the message.

It certainly makes sense to multiple source, and the people I spoke to at the Clarion division of DGN a couple of weeks ago made that clear. Contrary to wondering (as does AR) about how and why Brocade slipped, however, I wonder what Vixel has that Brocade doesn't have?

Despite the fact that AR is asking this very question, but from a different starting point, this particular post, along with a couple from the past, suggests to me that AR's contacts/connections are at Vixel, which would have allowed him to know/have a good idea about the competitive landscape unknown to us shareholders.

I wonder if the MMs are tiring after the activities of the last several days?

Pat
