Over this past weekend, I saw numerous movie trailers for a new film called The Thirteenth Floor, which opens this Friday. This movie has a really interesting appeal for those interested in virtual reality, and I checked out the web site www.thethirteenthfloor.com, which is increasing my anticipation for the release. After doing some research through the site, I saw that a public company called Activeworlds (AWLD) www.activeworlds.com will be hosting the virtual premiere of the movie in its Activeworlds.com platform tonight at 9pm. spe.sony.com. It will be the first ever movie premiere to be hosted on the web. After additional research, I found a press release that further explains Activeworlds involvement with the virtual premiere and SONY/Centropolis Studios. biz.yahoo.com
