Let me offer this one anecdote. On 4/12/99 I posted on another thread that I had hit my all time high. I had seen my net worth increase an incredible 20-fold over the last 18 months. Alas, that was the seal of fate. I am now down perhaps 50% (I don't really want to calculate now ;<).

At any rate, Uncle Sam (taxes) and the fabulous fundamentals of the inets both force me to focus on the long term. It's still a great country <g>.
