Yes, the Pleiades are nice too... perhaps not that spectacular, but they have an interesting place in many mythologies... Great star-gazing here on very cold winter nights. The atmosphere gives them that characteristic "twinkle". Almost seems like you can hear them on the coldest nights. However, the best is when the area wolf pack goes yipping and yapping across the frozen fields... Now that's good...
